Projekt 39 – Wholecloth

My project of the week was not successfull. Either I should have taken more time to auditioning, or it looks strange, because for the first time I used colorful thread on light fabric.

At least, I’m not really happy with the resultat. I think about to overdye it. So I didn’t put the binding on. What color should I choose?

  1. Hallo,

  2. Oh my goodness – this is so fun and beautiful!

  3. So pretty – it looks like lace!

  4. If you're really not happy with it, I might suggest dye it orange – this will match with the orange and red in the center and have a bold contrast with the blue. Or I'd dye it purple or blue to match with the blue and contrast with the sun colors. Dyeing it will definitely change the picture entirely – but what thread did you use? If it's not synthetic (polyester, rayon, etc) then the thread will dye too and nothing will show.

    Cheers,

    Leah

    1. Thanks for your answer! I use polyester thread. But I get used to the colors. I think I will hang it on a colorful wall.
