Die Göttin bekommt Haare – The Godess gets hair

The last two days I worked intensive on quilting my goddess. You know,I want the godess to give my friend for a birthday – the birthday was in february. That was a little bit too optimistic 🙂 But I will give her the godess – with delay.

After I quilted the last sunrays, I started yesterday with her hair. I must say, that I’ve struggled with the last two designs from Leah. Wiggle Wiggle Spiral works, but Zigzag Spiral was a torture. But I struggled already with Zippling. I like the Flying Geese in her hair. First I was not sure, whether it works, but it looks great.

Like Leah, I dislike the section with the words. I think, I will quilt over the purple thread with Scribble.

I’m linking up with Leah Day for FMQ Fridays

  1. I haven't tried the two new patterns, but I know that the softer, more curved one will be easier for me than anything with straight lines and points.

    1. Stella, you are like me. But I try to get out of my comfort zone 🙂
